Monikl is designed to reinvent the way people hire and get hired. We use proprietary algorithms that generate superior job seeker and employer matches based on a multitude of variables, including skills, temperament, workplace preferences and cultural fit – variables that are not addressed in the current marketplace. Monikl also offers temp pay-rolling, virtual time cards, worker’s compensation insurance, and more, to enable companies to hire temps, contract or gig workers, not just direct-hire employees. We’ve created a job and hiring environment that is faster, less expensive, and more reliable than the current, outdated processes in the staffing industry today. Monikl offers what job boards cannot: Quality over Quantity.
Monikl is the brainchild of its founders, Zachary Senz Kamler and Ken Pomella. Ken, a Software Development Manager by trade, found looking for new employees frustrating and time consuming. For an open Senior Developer position, he looked through hundreds of job board resumes and responses to job postings. He found that most were unqualified, and some did not even possess any IT skills.
Ken felt discouraged at the hiring process, so he turned to a local staffing firm for help. They sent him plenty of skilled candidates, but unfortunately none of them turned out to be the right match for the job or the company culture.
Ken complained to his friend, Zachary, that there had to be a better way. Having grown up with parents who owned businesses in the staffing industry, and having worked in staffing after school and summers since he was 12-years-old, Zachary understood Ken’s challenges and the limitations of current recruitment options. It turned out Zachary was already brainstorming new and better ways for companies to hire people.
Together, Zachary and Ken came up with a better way. They designed Monikl, a comprehensive job platform that matches job seekers to employers, based not only on required skills, but also on a candidate’s personality, work environment preferences, interests and temperament.
